Cakes make the world a better place...

I've been getting my bake on recently...today I made one of my favourites, "radio one's malteser cake" I didn't actually "bake" it as it's a refridgerator cake, so it's easy peasy!!

To make it you will need:
100g margarine
6 tbsps syrup
250g chocolate
200g crushed digestive biscuits
200g crushed malteasers

Melt margarine and syrup and chocolate over heat. When it's all melted, take off the heat and add crushed biscuits and "Malteasers", mix really well. Spread into a lined greased swiss roll tin. Chill in the fridge then cut up into small squares. Keep refridgerated.

It's seriously yummy but rather calorific as you can imagine! It's so easy to throw together though, I reccomend everyone to give it a go!

I also made some mars bar crispie cakes last night which were equally delicious and just as easy! Basically melt 3 mars bars and 55g of butter in a sauce pan (the nougutty bits will take the longest to melt) stir in 77g of corn flakes or rice crispies. Divide into paper cases and leave to cool. Makes about 40 and they're bloody lovely!!
